The Earth's Lithosphere
- Underneath the lithosphere the temperatures reach to about 1832 Fahrenheit which is very hot!
- The lithosphere is solid rock, this part covers the whole entire planet.
- The lithosphere is made out of composed minerals.
- This part is uneven.
- A cool fact to know is that the word lithos comes from a Greek word and sphere can be known as a round object.
- The lithosphere also known as the crust, is made up of three rocks.
Which are- Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic.
- The lithosphere is an important part of our rock cycle, and without that part we would not have our planet changing.
- A connection that I think we can all make to this, is that like our hearts, the lithosphere keeps our Earth going and healthy!
