I know that I haven't been keeping up with my daily blog, but I have been very busy. Although I have to admit that there were a few times I could of posted a blog. Anyway, today we had a basketball game at a different school and unfortunately we lost. Normally there is around fifteen people on the team, but everyone was sick, so we only had about nine people. Even though we lost I personally take it as a great learning experience. I really enjoy playing basketball and having lots of fun. This is one of my first times being on a school team, and it's really fun.

Today we learned all the parts that are in the introductory paragraph. We also learned the Introductory remarks. For me and I think for most of the students in my class, the most difficult remark was a statement that is the opposite of the point you plan to make. My favourite is probably a proverb, slogan, saying, or quotation. This was pretty much review from last year in grade six, but there were some new things that I learned.

Today our student teacher Ms.Fei, showed us some chemistry and we had to make observations on what she was doing. Later we went into groups of five and then we got a big sheet of paper and as a group we were writing down questions that we were wondering about or observed. It was very interesting because we had to write down questions that were very... awkward. For example, Ms.Fei used a candle for one of the experiments. Our group had no more questions so we came up with "Is a candle (wax) edible?", and surprisingly Ms.Fei said those questions were fine to ask, only if the question was some what related. I learned many new things and terms. One thing we learned was, open and closed questions, I have learned this in the past but I never knew that is the proper term for those types of questions, plus it was a good review.

This is my first post in this section of my website, what I will try to do is post everyday on what I did today in class, it's kind of going to be a reflection and also saying what I do in class everyday.
So today, we researched about different careers, our group got the subject "Social Studies" and it was very fun and really interesting to learn about all these different careers and all the skills that you learn.
